Returns Policy


At Crafted Jewellery we take immense pride in the skill and craftsmanship of our designers, gemologists, and master jewellers, who create exquisite jewellery. However, in the rare event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we have established the following returns policy:


Return Guidelines

  1. Return Period: Products must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase.
  2. Condition: The product must be unworn, undamaged, and in saleable condition.
  3. Exclusions: Earrings and other pierced jewellery cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons.
  4. Documentation: Ensure that the item is returned with its original ring box and all accompanying paperwork, including any GIA or IGI certificates or gemstone grading reports.
  5. Gemstones: The jewellery must not be missing any of its original diamonds or gemstones.
  6. Alterations: The jewellery must not have been altered by any other jeweller or party.
  7. Bespoke and High-Value Orders: Please note that bespoke commissions, personalised items, or engraved items are excluded from our returns policy, unless they are found to be faulty or have been agreed upon in writing. Orders with a diamond valued above £20,000 (excluding VAT) also fall under this exclusion unless they are deemed faulty or have been agreed upon in writing.



If your purchase meets the above criteria, we will issue a refund within 28 days of receiving the returned item.


Lost Certificate’s

If you have misplaced your GIA certificate, it can be replaced. However, you must inform us point of contact before returning the item. Please be aware that the process of replacing a certificate is both lengthy and costly, and we reserve the right to deduct a £375 fee per certificate if your jewellery is returned without it.


Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty through no fault of your own, we offer the options of repair, replacement, or a full refund.


Non-Returnable Items

Any replaced or repaired items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable. If you exchange your item for a replacement or have had your diamond reset in another ring, your order will be exempt from future returns or exchanges.

Bespoke Purchases

Bespoke purchases, personalised, and/or engraved items are generally not eligible for returns unless found to be faulty. However, we are pleased to offer an exchange within 30 days of purchase for bespoke commissions, provided they haven't been engraved or worn. Restocking charges may apply, covering production costs, and are subject to Crafted Jewellery’s discretion. If you choose to cancel your purchase during the production stage, you may incur costs if production has commenced.


Selling Your Jewellery

Crafted does not generally engage in the sale of second-hand jewellery and does not buy jewellery from customers or the public, including items previously purchased from our store or website, unless for the metal value alone (in line with our sustainability agenda). You are entitled to return or exchange your item as per the terms outlined in our returns policy. If you wish to sell your jewellery, you can contact us and we’ll be happy to advise you on your best options.


Preparing Your Return

To facilitate a return, you can choose either in-person return or delivery. Here are the key steps for returning your Crafted Jewellery purchase:

  1. Contact us via email at, call us at 01923 594 323, or get in touch with your consultant to discuss your return before proceeding.
  2. Upon confirmation with your Crafted Jewellery consultant, package your item using its original packaging, including your GIA or IGI diamond or gemstone certificate and any additional paperwork provided by us.
  3. Avoid indicating the value of the package contents on the packaging or address. Instead, label the package as follows: Crafted, 19b High Street, Kings Langley, Hertfordshire WD4 8AB
  4. For UK returns, use Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed, ensuring that the package is tracked and insured. Obtain proof of posting and clearly mark the parcel as fragile, specifying that it should not be left with a neighbour or on the doorstep. For returns from outside the UK, choose a reputable courier of your choice, ensuring the package is tracked and insured. Obtain proof of dispatch.


Please be aware that failing to follow the above steps meticulously may result in the rejection of your return by Crafted Jewellery, rendering us unable to repair, replace, or refund the item.
