2012

Our founder Taylor explores his passion for beautiful and meaningful jewellery, and begins his journey in precious metal refining. He joins a company filled with a diverse range of jewellery industry experts, many of whom are now valued members of the Crafted Jewellery team.

2013

Inspired by their refreshing view on sustainability, Taylor takes a risk working for a jewellery refining start-up. It pays off, and he falls in love with creating quality jewellery with a positive impact.

2014

Taylor teams up with his younger brother Mason, and they get to work creating jewellery for the start-up. Together, they discover the intricate and ambitious art of jewellery making from skilled craftsmen.

2015

Mason is accepted to begin extensive training at a prestigious jewellery school ‘Holts Academy of Jewellery’. He perfects priceless skills, like how to set precious gemstones. Mason develops as an artist, and creates jewellery from scratch, guided by incredible industry professionals. As he learns to shape metal, he shapes into a uniquely gifted jewellery artist.

2016

An official graduate, Mason makes magic with the largest jewellery retailer in the United Kingdom. He continues to enhance his jewellery making abilities, learning to repair and redesign heirloom pieces. He dives into the world of engagement rings, and gains unique insight into the importance of personalised customer services.

2017

Taylor collaborates with a longtime friend in the jewellery industry to form Crafted Jewellery. They begin without a store, as a ‘for the trade’ organisation in England. They work locally in London and Hertfordshire, repairing and resetting pieces for independent jewellers.

2018

Taylor and his longtime friend open the first Crafted Jewellery store, which sits proudly in Kings Langley village in Hertfordshire. Friends, family and experts show their faith in the store and come together to build on a small budget. The store opens and is quickly flooded with loyal customers that share a passion for high quality, sustainable jewellery.

2019

The incredible success of the first Crafted Jewellery retail store inspires an expansion. Despite a lack of available property, the team discovers a prime location in Battlers Green Shopping Village.

2020

When the world shuts down during the pandemic, as does the Crafted Jewellery retail store. With the support of loving family, Crafted Jewellery is able to rebuild and return to delivering exceptional services. Mason joins in the unique endeavour, bringing his expertise and perfected processes to Crafted Jewellery’s workshop. After seeing Taylor and Mason flourish, their mother Denise joins the business and supports their vision to continue building a legacy.

2021

Crafted Jewellery opens the highly anticipated brand new store at Battlers Green Shopping Village. Word of the store’s stunning jewellery and exceptional customer service has spread, and Crafted Jewellery surpasses even the highest of expectations.

2022

Today, Crafted Jewellery is a highly sought after, handcrafted jewellery merchant. While our pieces have always been celebrated for their astonishing beauty, we remain committed to continually seeking new possibilities. Yet, we believe in excellence without sacrificing ethics. It’s an approach that means our community continually turns to us for the complete peace of mind that they’re receiving an enduring, elegant and exceptional memento.
